Successful Maritime Industry trade fair

We look back on a successful trade fair: on 20, 21 and 22 May, we had a stand at Maritime Industry. It was a great opportunity for our new director Jacco to introduce himself!

As usual, we were once again located in the popular street of Werkendam Maritime Industries. Our skilled employees told interested visitors more about all the possibilities our machine factory has to offer: the installation and repair of beautiful, innovative manoeuvring and propulsion systems, service and maintenance, and attractive career prospects.

Erwin Scherff enthusiastically tells visitors more about our products.

Fourth generation

At the stand, we displayed a Compact steering gear for coasters and a fully dismantled propeller shaft installation, among other things. In keeping with tradition, we took another great photo of three generations of De Waals: Ton, Marco and Jacco. With Jacco as the new director, the fourth generation is now at the helm. For him, this trade fair was a great opportunity to introduce himself and tell visitors more about his plans for our wonderful family business. He also gave an interesting presentation in the Knowledge Theatre on the theme of 'How do I start my own shipbuilding business?'

Toespraak JaccoJacco de Waal tells visitors more about starting your own business in shipbuilding.

Just like during the Open Shipping Days in Antwerp, the Beer Truck was there again. This allowed visitors to get information while enjoying a nice beer.

We will be back at Maritime Industry next year, which will take place on 2, 3 and 4 June.
