HB Autocentrum Werkendam and Hedin Automotive Ford Gorinchem recently handed over three brand-new service vans to Machinefabriek De Waal.

This investment stems from high employment levels, our ambition to provide an even higher level of service, and our desire to offer comfort and safety to our skilled employees. With new mechanics and this expansion of our fleet, we are further expanding our services to our customers.

De Waal's new service buses are equipped with all modern conveniences.

Completely renewed

Following the previous series of buses, delivered in the summer of '23, Ford was once again chosen as the brand. The German reliability of this brand fits in well with De Waal. This new Ford Transit Custom has been completely renewed, with attention also paid to the comfort and safety of the drivers.

Peter van den Heuvel is pleased with the new service buses.

The three buses are equipped with double sliding doors, a double loading floor with drawers underneath, extra side airbags and passenger airbags, heated seats, a rear-view camera and even heated windscreen. Talk about comfort... For a rugged look, features such as sidebars, black roof rails and extra LED lighting in the grille have also been added. The buses are panelled with a double floor with drawers and extra space for long hydraulic pipes. The bus stands on extra-large wheels and, with its characteristic red and blue colours, is impossible to miss on the road. In short, a striking appearance!

The vans are used for all kinds of service work, both for regular on-site service and for hydraulic applications and IVR inspections throughout Europe.
