Fish tail rudders for push boat Veerle

Commissioned by Rook Ruijtenberg (VDL Shipping bv), we equipped the push boat Veerle with new fishtail rudders (type R4), steering gear and tank set. 

The Veerle's old installation needed replacing due to intensive use. Our professionals carried out this work in the covered ship lift in just over three weeks. The rudders are positioned directly behind the propeller, so that the water has the same flow on both sides.
