Quality assurance

Ever since car cranes started to become a fixture on ships in the early 1970s, De Waal has been one of the pioneering manufacturers to develop and produce such a product in-house. And we still do. These days every Stuwa® crane is fully plug & play with a design and technology that offer unique and innovative features.

Multi-purpose

Our cranes use a universal design, making them suitable for a range of purposes. In addition to their popular use on board river barges as car cranes, our marine models are also eminently suitable for use as gangway cranes on passenger ships. Or what about a tender crane on a super yacht for example?

Simple to install

Installation is quick and easy. Just bolt or weld the crane in place, insert the plug and there you go! The built-in, silent power pack has ample power to drive two functions simultaneously. Even the hoisting winch is fully encased, so the crane looks pleasingly sleek and smooth.
