LNG vessels for Shell

The MTS Blue Marjan was the first vessel in the Parsifal series of ships sailing for Shell. It was a milestone and a historic moment to see this beautiful ship moored in Werkendam.

The ships were built by Concordia Damen Shipbuilding, and CCM3 is responsible for the finishing. Daily operations are in the hands of the VTgroup/Marlow. This first ship is named after Marjan van Loon, president and managing director of Shell Netherlands. De Waal is supplying the ship's rudders, associated steering gear, propeller shaft installation and propeller shaft seals. After installation in the ship lift, the Blue Marjan is moored at the Waalkade.
