Easyflow stirring and complete propeller system for Ms. Antonie

The very first newly built hydrogen ship, the MS Antonie, sails with a De Waal propeller shaft system and fuel-saving Easyflow rudders. This innovative Easyflow rudder is still widely used in inland shipping. In November 20923, His Majesty the King visited this zero-emission ship, with which inland shipping entrepreneur Harm Lenten wants to demonstrate that hydrogen is a solution for clean and quiet goods transport by water.

Proud

De Waal is proud to be able to contribute to this. Harm Lenten has been a satisfied customer of De Waal for many years, ever since he worked alongside his father on board. "My father's ship, the Harm-L, a twin-screw vessel from the 1950s, was already fitted with a new propeller shaft seal from De Waal. When it came to rudders and propeller shaft seals, De Waal was quickly established as the go-to supplier." Now, this skipper has once again chosen De Waal.
