De Waal's products have been widely used in the fishing industry since the 1980s. A large number of cutters sail around with Stuwa rudders and steering machines to complete satisfaction. Whereas contacts used to run via our dealer Promac in Zaltbommel, the manufacturer De Waal can now be contacted directly for the steering system of a fishing cutter, but also for service and maintenance.

The control and manoeuvring technology specialist commissions, provides aftercare and service. De Waal visits every port: in the Netherlands, Europe and even worldwide.

The steering machines include as standard a hydraulic tank set, heavy-duty rudder drive, double hydraulic piping, demand-controlled hydraulic pumps, electric starter boxes and a modern control and monitoring panel. Everything is available from stock at the large machine factory in Werkendam. Innovation and many practical details give these products an indestructible name in the fishing world.

In the early 1980s, manufacturer Seffle (Sweden) discontinued their steering machines. From then on, De Waal was immediately embraced as the new 'court supplier' of the well-known Stuwa© steering machines; developed, built and commissioned in-house.
