Turning workpieces up to 12 metres!
De Waal is a fully equipped engineering works. This means that we have several lathes at our disposal to perform any type of turning work you need done. Computer-controlled, single items or in series.
Turning work is done by spinning the workpiece around its axis at high speed. The stationary cutting tool cuts into the material with high precision until the shape is exactly as we want it. We do turning jobs ranging from short rings to complete propeller shafts up to 12 metres long! We handle objects up to 1.8 metres in diameter. We invest actively to keep our plant up to date. Lathes are very important to us. They turned us into what we are today. The machinery bug caught our founder at an early age, and it still shows in our high-tech plant.
