Are you looking for a thicker or longer lasting prop shaft?

Thermal spraying is not a machining operation per se, but as a thermally sprayed workpiece always needs to be machined on a lathe to finish it, we include the technique here. It is a technique that only few companies can offer. One of these companies is De Waal. Thermal spraying, which builds up the surface of the workpiece by spraying it with a plastified mass of hot metal, offers a relatively low-cost renovation method. If you like, we can take your worn propeller shaft, give it our thermal spraying treatment, and then machine it to specification. It works out cheaper than a completely new shaft. But we can also use thermal spraying to add a very hard-wearing coating to your propeller shaft.
